Convention facilities were very good and clean. The Cafe was also good, has a secret full Chinese menu with great potstickers. Zenshin had a decent happy hour with lots of appetizers and sushi to chose from and it was cheap. Restaurants-Steak and Shake always had a line out the door so didn't bother waiting. Plenty of slots but not a large amount of tables, aside from Blackjack. Casino-very smoky, bad filtration system or something. People eat by the pool and more than once were garbage/cups rolling in to the water. Thursday-Saturday it was a madhouse filled with kids. There are a few fast food places close by. As a seasoned Vegas traveler, I would say this "resort" was average at best for many reasons: Location-despite being on Las Vegas Blvd, it is very south of any action on the Strip, definitely not walking to any other hotels in the area. I thought it would be most convenient to stay on site. We stayed at South Point for a convention last week.
